Adi Associates has supported Malta International Airport in developing a strategy to improve traffic flow and parking efficiency across the site. The study identified key issues including tailbacks, blocked access, and inefficient use of car park space. Proposed solutions included segregating Y-plate traffic, increasing parking capacity, and enhancing pedestrian facilities. Simulations were carried out by Modelling Group, with the results showing reduced queuing and improved circulation, paving the way for a more accessible airport environment.
