EIA of two large-scale projects

Adi Associates has recently concluded the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) of two large-scale projects – the redevelopment of the Mellieha Bay Hotel, in Mellieha, and the relocation of the St Albert the Great College, from Valletta to a site in Gudja.  In both cases, the results of the EIA resulted in significantly revised proposals, where the revisions served to reduce the scale of the environmental impacts.  Both projects demonstrate the value of EIA in informing the design of projects with the potential to have an environmental impact, and in delivering quality development.
