Dania is an architect with professional experience in Malta and abroad, having worked on a variety of residential, commercial, corporate, and interior architecture projects. Her diverse background has given her a broad understanding of the built environment and the relationship between design, planning, and heritage.
With a growing interest in heritage conservation, Dania pursued a Master’s degree in World Heritage Conservation at University College Dublin. During her studies, she completed an internship at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ħaġar Qim, where she was involved in the updating of the site’s management plan. She has also worked within the public sector at the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, where she gained valuable experience in planning and heritage policies, cultural heritage management, and the wider regulatory framework governing the historic environment.
As part of the ADI team, Dania contributes to a range of planning services, including the preparation of Urban Design Statements (UDSs), Visual Impact Assessments (VIAs), and transport studies, bringing together her experience in architecture, planning, and heritage.
Outside of work, Dania enjoys outdoors activities, volunteering, and exploring creative hobbies and handcrafts.
