The Rural Development Programme (RDP) for Malta – formally adopted by the European Commission on 24 November 2015 – sets out the country’s priorities for 2014–2022. With a budget of €196.1 million, the Programme focuses on boosting the competitiveness of the agricultural sector, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, and supporting balanced territorial development to create employment.
Since 2019, Adi Associates has been entrusted with evaluating the Programme, a role we will continue until its conclusion in 2025, culminating in the ex-post evaluation. Our work covers all environmental aspects of the evaluation, with particular emphasis on climate change, natural resources, and biodiversity.
