Accessibility Mapping for Malta Public Cultural Organizations

Adi Associates was contracted by Arts Council Malta to conduct a study titled Accessibility Mapping for Public Cultural Organizations. The study aimed to identify opportunities and challenges related to accessibility in cultural venues and sites managed by Public Cultural Organizations, with a specific focus on the Maltese context.

It involved detailed desk research on national and international accessibility standards, followed by site visits to cultural venues in Malta to assess compliance and explore ways to ensure equal access for all. The study provides a foundation for improving accessibility across Malta’s public cultural sector, promoting inclusive access to cultural spaces and experiences for all citizens.
