Adi Associates recently assisted AENOR, the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification, in its ISO 14001 audit of a local pharmaceutical facility.
The audit consisted of a site visit and a review of relevant documentation such as permits, monitoring reports and records to determine the plant’s compliance with its legal requirements. The audit covered a range of topics that included air emissions, waste management, discharges to sewer, noise monitoring, ozone depleting substances and others. The auditor also made recommendations for improvement where necessary.
