In 2021 Adi Associates Directors, Adrian Mallia and Rachel Xuereb, co-authored a paper entitled Numerically enhanced conceptual modelling (NECoM) applied to the Malta Mean Sea Level Aquifer that was published in the Hydrogeology Journal.

The consortium engaged to carry out the construction of the Mechanical Biological Treatment plant at Ghallis commissioned Adi Associates to support it in preparing the documentation required as part of the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) application for the facility.

Adi Associates supported the consortium in carrying out a Best Available Technique (BAT) assessment to identify how the plant compared with BAT as defined in the BAT Reference documents (BREFs) published by the European Commission. The BREFs considered covered waste treatment industries, storage, and energy efficiency.
