ERA launches Natura 2000 Management Plans
Following the conclusion of the important contract that Adi Associates led together with Epsilon International for the formulation of Management Plans for the terrestrial Natura 2000 sites in the Maltese Islands, the Environment Resources Authority has recently launched these plans. The implementation of these plans is seen as an important step in Malta’s conservation efforts with several key priorities for protected areas finally seeing the light of day. As noted in the press release issued by the Environment & Resources Authority the project for the preparation of the Management Plans was also awarded the CIEEM Best Practice Award for Stakeholder Engagement 2016.
